The body with flat shade, which reflects the light downwards, is made of resistant cast resin and aluminium. The downward-facing socket is surrounded by a sandblasted glass diffuser that provides more details... an even light diffusion. The glass is protected from rough mechanical impact by a stainless steel cage. Polo was designed in 1986 by Elio Martinelli (1921-2004).
