The included remote control is not only used for switching on and off, but also for more details... selecting six speed levels and regulating the running direction. The latter can be switched to summer or winter mode depending on the room temperature, so that the ceiling fan either provides a cool breeze or directs the air heated by the heating into the occupied area.
